 Disappointed............. May 11, 2010
Dear Sir:
I purchased this guitar for my grandson. However, he wanted the X-Box version. "ONLY THE BEST GOODS" REFUSED ME A REFUND AS THEY DIDN'T HAVE AN X-BOX AVAILABLE to exchange. I don't think this was right and I didn't know for sure which version he wanted and I picked the wrong one. I am a grandmother and not familiar enough with all these electronics for kids. It was a very expensive item and I don't feel a good store, company, etc. would refuse me a refund so I can get what I want. I will never order anything from them again. Not a good policy for customers. We weren't changing it because we didn't want it any more. just wanted an exchange. I looked under Amazon and there are several places that have an X-Box version.

Guitar only???! Jan 21, 2010
When I saw this on an Amazon special, marked down to $99 from $150-180+, I figured it was the guitar AND the game disk. Who in their right mind would pay over $100 for just a guitar controller?? I had put this in my Amazon cart/wishlist as a reference for an Xmas gift, so this wasn't actually *purchased* by me.
Five-Star rating is for the actual game itself, not the controller nor the price.

Awesome! Work of art! You can't hear the buttons at all! Jan 01, 2010
This was a splurge since my hubby thought he was literally in a rock band and broke the one that came with the set. Now he treats this one like a baby. It's his pride and joy! It is SO much nicer than the Rickenbacker! The fret is so smooth and accurate. The buttons you can't hear click at all. It is highly responsive and a great buy!

I love both the Beatles and Rockband, so I was excited to receive this item for Christmas. It is really cool looking and fun to play.
