You Get What You Pay For Sep 03, 2010 I purchased this item 2 to 3 weeks ago, as a replacement to my old RB drums that had crapped out.
The drum pads are rather loud, but decently receptive.
After a couple weeks of usage, the red drum pad crapped out, making them useless.
I suppose you get what you pay for, not bad for $15, but I wouldn't reccomend them.
THE Cheap Compact Clutter-free Solution Sep 02, 2010 I must five-star this one not only for being a solid game drum kit at just $10, but for making Rock Band more accessible to those living in small flats. I'd been playing band-sim games at friends' homes, but knew I'd never tolerate a big expensive plastic drum kit taking up space in my tiny studio. However, when the price on this dropped to $10, I couldn't justify holding out any longer. This is a great kit that sets up easily on a coffeetable and packs up cleanly in a ~10x8x5in box. Those complaining that the kick pedal is not the most comfortable are right, but for the price & footprint, this can't be beat. :)

second bset thing next to ions Aug 20, 2010 Wow, these pads are incredible. They arrived pretty fast. The thing I most liked about them was that the pads have a thin layer of rubber on them which makes them quieter than stock. I thugh the foot pedal was pretty good. It's really wide so you could do double bass on it.

These didn't work Jul 30, 2010 Got these to use as midi triggers for drum programs on my Mac. They were not recognized and therefore useless. I need to return these but have delayed and am past the 30 day return policy??

A decent buy Jul 08, 2009 Basically the set itself is great. The pads are responsive. I don't consider myself a great drummer, but I like to tear it up on expert and these drum pads deliver. Rolls on the snare or any other pad are very clean, somewhat of a relief as my RB1 drumset doesn't deliver as much. The pedal is also a wonder. I feel a lot more comfortable with this pedal than with the stock on RB1 or RB2. So the gear is good. The one flaw which a lot of people have mentioned is NO FRAME!!!!! Set-up is a drag, finding a comfortable way to play, but once you do it is awsome. The proof is in the numbers, my score on All Nightmare Long in GH: Metallica went up 200k with these drums. All in all it is worth it, just need a little patience and now you can tear it up on the road
